Our Founding Fathers recognized that the United States would change over time and they established a framework that would ensure long-term stability and prevent tyranny so long as the system of checks and balances, the separation of powers, and the rule of law are maintained.  They also placed the onus to preserve this framework directly and squarely on "We, the People".

We are now dealing with a new point in American history where we are being confronted with a targeted effort to dismantle that framework, diminish the rule of law, and disenfranchise the very people for whom our governing principles were written.  The total disregard for these principles by the current administration has us on the precipice of becoming the house divided that will cease to stand.  As we approach our country's 250th anniversary, now is the time to renew our dedication to the Constitution that ensures that "the government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth."

What the VA Redistricting means to the Country

Home to more Founding Fathers and Presidents than any other state, Virginia has a historical obligation to prevent the tyrannical takeover of our government.  As we stand at this pivotal juncture in our country’s history when Republican led states are manipulating voting districts, the passing of this TEMPORARY redistricing referendum is critical to

leveling the playing field and ensuring the continuance of our democracy.
