WE DID IT!

Thanks to Linda Copeland spearheading the effort with Jason Snow assisting and ALL of the wonderful Greene County residents who signed the petition, the UVA Health Mobile Care Unit is coming to Greene County!

Access to healthcare services can help promote well-being as well as prevent sickness.  The UVA Health Mobile Care will help when:

you can't get to or don't have a regular provider and need care

  • you have transportation limitations or need care closer to home.

The UVA Health Mobile Care brings routine care to our neighborhood.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

General health check-ups

  • Chronic diseease management

  • Pediatric care

  • Care for minor sickness and injuries

  • Women's health - pelvic concrns and birth control

  • Lab tests

  • and much more

They accept most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid.

NOTE:  the more the mobile care is used, additional days can be added to the schedule
